We brew SAKE from domestic beniimo (red potato) grown without the use of pesticides. We then turn it into "Purple sweet potato vinegar(Plane)" through a process of static fermentation over a long maturing period.
This vinegar contains plenty of anthocyanin, a type of polyphenol, which is an antioxidant. This means it is good for your health and can help aid anti-aging. Take it as healthy drink by adding water or soda. It is good for your liver and can also be enjoyed by those who drink more often.
Its vivid red color also makes it good for use in dressings or pickled turnips and daikon (Japanese radish). It has a nostalgic taste, evoking the flavor of plum vinegar.
How to enjoy Purple sweet potato vinegar(Plane)
How to enjoy Purple sweet potato vinegar(Plane)
-Take 1 to 2 tablespoons (15 to 30ml) of Purple sweet potato vinegar(Plane) daily. Dilute it with water or soda to at least 8 parts water/soda per one part Purple sweet potato vinegar(Plane). Avoid drinking on an empty stomach. A 500ml bottle will last for about one month. Compared with Genmai-kurozu, it is easier to drink. Add honey to give it a sweeter, more palatable taste.
-If diluted with milk, it becomes a healthier drink. It also takes on a thicker consistency, similar to yogurt. Milk is a rich source of calcium, and vinegar helps in the absorption of calcium.
-It is easy to drink and delicious when mixed with apple juice, vegetable juice, or isotonic drinks.
-Use the bright pink color to make pickled turnips.
-Add a little Purple sweet potato vinegar(Plane) to Sushisu to give your sushi an enchanting pink color.
-With its clean acidity, it can also be used in marinades and dressings.
